Associate Scientist II/Senior Associate Scientist Biology

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize biochemical and cell-based assays to support drug discovery programs
• Independently execute biochemical and cell-based assays to screen and evaluate small-molecule compounds
• Partner with Chemistry and Compound Management teams to enable efficient compound screening
• Analyze and interpret experimental data to ensure scientific rigor and data quality
• Present experimental results and project updates at team meetings
• Maintain and manage cell lines and biology laboratory equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, pharmacology, cell biology, or related scientific field
• 2+ years of industry experience (for Associate Scientist II)
• 5+ years of industry experience (for Senior Associate Scientist)
• Hands-on experience in cell culture, cell proliferation assays, cytotoxicity assays, ELISA, and Western blot
• Strong scientific rigor and ability to critically evaluate data
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with proximity-based assays (e.g., HTRF, NanoBRET, AlphaLISA)
• Familiarity with HTS screening methodology
