Associate Scientist III

Responsibilities

• Onboard new cell models and develop QC metrics for automated high-throughput genetic and compounding cell-screening assays
• Prepare, optimize, and implement real-time qPCR assays to support target validation screenings
• Apply advanced perturbation techniques including RNA interference, CRISPR-based gene editing, and small molecule modulation
• Leverage Python-based data analysis to assess assay performance and ensure data reproducibility
• Develop confocal imaging experiments and perform in-house image analyses for assay characterization
• Maintain thorough documentation within electronic lab notebooks (ELNs) and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Biotechnology (or related) with 2 years experience, or Bachelor’s with 5 years experience
• 2 years experience in medium/high-throughput cell-based screening (96/384-well) and automated liquid handling
• 2 years experience in molecular biology techniques including PCR, qPCR, and DNA/RNA extraction
• 2 years experience culturing human stem cells, iPSC cells, or primary cells
• Proficiency in Python for data-driven analysis and statistical modeling
