Associate Scientist II

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine analysis of internal release, development, and stability samples
• Execute non-GxP stability study analysis for thermal, freeze/thaw, and agitation conditions
• Conduct container closure system evaluations for both Drug Substance and adjuvanted vaccine Drug Product materials
• Support tech transfer and implementation of processes and analytical methods with external CMOs
• Author analytical technical documents, including method protocols, SOPs, and reports
• Maintain thorough and rigorous records using electronic laboratory notebooks (eLN)

Requirements

• BS degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field with at least 2 years of industry experience, OR an MS degree with at least 1 year of industry experience
• Experience in the analytical characterization of large biomolecular Drug Products
• Experience executing bioanalytical components of stability studies and release tests
• Proficiency in plate-based assays, immunoassay/ELISA, and chromatography methods
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with fluid prioritization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective team collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with vaccine and adjuvant-containing formulations
• Practical experience with biomolecular Drug Products in pre-filled syringes and vials
• Proficiency in spectrometric and biophysical methodologies
