Associate Scientist - II, R&D

Responsibilities

• Support the launch and sustenance of commercial products globally by following Baxter Quality Management Systems.
• Assist in managing product design throughout the lifecycle and maintaining Design History Files (DHF) or similar governance documents.
• Identify and analyze design problems to develop innovative solutions that meet cost and technical requirements.
• Execute laboratory batches and prepare detailed reports to support commercialized product investigations.
• Assess the impact of compendial product changes on product quality and patient safety.
• Design and execute laboratory experiments to respond to customer queries, agency inquiries, and market compliance requirements.
• Manage the availability of required laboratory licenses and materials, including raw and packaging materials.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Pharmaceutics or an equivalent field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in formulation development.
• Hands-on experience in laboratory batch execution with a focus on achieving expected results.
• Strong mathematical and statistical aptitude.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for collaborating with teams and presenting findings to customers.
