Associate Scientist II

Responsibilities

• Maintain cell cultures, including advanced primary cells
• Execute and troubleshoot complex in vitro model systems and co-cultures
• Perform laboratory techniques including flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy, and ELISA
• Autonomously conduct critical laboratory experiments and interpret data to drive research decisions
• Manage day-to-day laboratory operations, including maintaining a safe environment and ordering consumables
• Gather, analyze, and present experimental data to local and international teams
• Maintain accurate laboratory experimental records and quality sample archives

Requirements

• BSc or MSc degree in a relevant scientific discipline with industry experience (or equivalent relevant experience)
• Proven experience in mammalian cell culture
• Hands-on experience with cell biology techniques such as flow cytometry, ELISA, and fluorescence microscopy
• Demonstrated ability in laboratory method development
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience running functional in vitro or ex vivo biological assays on primary cells
• Good knowledge of statistical analysis
