About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain cell cultures, including advanced primary cells
- Execute and troubleshoot complex in vitro model systems and co-cultures
- Perform laboratory techniques including flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy, and ELISA
- Autonomously conduct critical laboratory experiments and interpret data to drive research decisions
- Manage day-to-day laboratory operations, including maintaining a safe environment and ordering consumables
- Gather, analyze, and present experimental data to local and international teams
- Maintain accurate laboratory experimental records and quality sample archives
Requirements
- BSc or MSc degree in a relevant scientific discipline with industry experience (or equivalent relevant experience)
- Proven experience in mammalian cell culture
- Hands-on experience with cell biology techniques such as flow cytometry, ELISA, and fluorescence microscopy
- Demonstrated ability in laboratory method development
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience running functional in vitro or ex vivo biological assays on primary cells
- Good knowledge of statistical analysis
