Associate Scientist

Responsibilities

• Support assigned projects from creation to production under guidance
• Execute creative project tasks and contribute to developing innovative flavor solutions
• Conduct basic tests and experiments, analyzing and correlating results
• Build understanding of functional ingredients, flavor materials, and applications
• Interpret consumer and sensory data to support development decisions
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, Sales, and Marketing
• Provide technical support during plant trials, troubleshooting, and customer interactions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field
• 1–2 years of experience in the food, ingredient, or flavor industry
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of ingredient functionality and flavor performance
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to regulatory frameworks such as GRA and ingredient legislation
• Familiarity with flavor or ingredient portfolio search tools
• Experience interpreting sensory or consumer research data
