About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the manufacture of complex drug product formulations for use in analytical and process development
- Execute experimental studies utilizing biochemical, biophysical, and particle techniques
- Prepare buffers and laboratory reagents by calculating recipes for manufacturing and testing activities
- Maintain laboratory organization, including bench space, storage, and fridge management to meet safety standards
- Document all experimental work with scientific rigor and maintain comprehensive records
- Collaborate with Analytical, Device, and Process Engineering teams in a cross-functional environment
Requirements
- BS in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Organic, or Biochemistry
- 1-2 years of relevant industry experience
- Solid understanding of analytical chemistry or biochemistry principles
- Proven experience calculating buffer recipes and preparing laboratory reagents
- Strong pipetting and sample preparation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Highly organized and methodical approach to lab tasks and record keeping
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using an Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) system
- Understanding of analytical statistical analysis
- Familiarity with GraphPad Prism and JMP software
- Experience with method troubleshooting and data analysis
