Associate Scientist I, Analytical Development

Responsibilities

• Execute cell-based assays to support AAV gene therapy product development
• Prepare reagents, culture cells, and maintain laboratory equipment
• Analyze and document experimental data with accuracy and completeness
• Participate in assay optimization and troubleshooting under supervision
• Contribute to analytical method development for product characterization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project completion
• Assist in preparing reports and presentations summarizing assay results
• Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and maintain an organized workspace

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, or related field
• Basic laboratory skills including pipetting, cell culture, and sample preparation
• Familiarity with basic data analysis tools such as Excel
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs
• Demonstrated teamwork and communication skills in a laboratory setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with aseptic techniques in mammalian cell culture systems
• Experience with qPCR, ELISA, SDS-PAGE, and Western Blot
