About the role
Responsibilities
- Support in vivo experiments, including injecting viral vectors and other compounds in mice
- Perform blood draws, necropsies, and process various samples for downstream analysis
- Develop and optimize in vivo techniques and translational assays to assess bio-distribution and efficacy of viral vectors
- Maintain meticulous notes and communicate findings professionally with colleagues
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related scientific field
- 1+ years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in mouse handling and various rodent injection techniques
- Experience with blood collection and tissue preparation for histological analysis
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing and optimizing protocols, assays, or SOPs
- Strong ability to summarize high-level research takeaways
