About the role

Responsibilities

  • Execute R&D activities to support the Condiments program, focusing on innovation, product superiority, and margin enhancement
  • Design and execute technical test protocols, including prototype development, scale-up, shelf-life testing, and analytical testing
  • Lead the specification and label creation process within SAP PLM
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to represent R&D interests
  • Assess the feasibility of new product ideas and troubleshoot formulation issues
  • Support technical investigations using root-cause analysis and problem-solving techniques
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with Supply Chain, Marketing, and external vendor partners

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience in food product development, R&D, or a similar technical role
  • Foundational knowledge of food formulation, ingredient functionality, and processing techniques
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory testing and prototype development
  • Familiarity with food safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to data interpretation
