About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute R&D activities to support the Condiments program, focusing on innovation, product superiority, and margin enhancement
- Design and execute technical test protocols, including prototype development, scale-up, shelf-life testing, and analytical testing
- Lead the specification and label creation process within SAP PLM
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to represent R&D interests
- Assess the feasibility of new product ideas and troubleshoot formulation issues
- Support technical investigations using root-cause analysis and problem-solving techniques
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with Supply Chain, Marketing, and external vendor partners
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in food product development, R&D, or a similar technical role
- Foundational knowledge of food formulation, ingredient functionality, and processing techniques
- Hands-on experience with laboratory testing and prototype development
- Familiarity with food safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to data interpretation
