Associate Scientist Cell Culture Media

Responsibilities

• Support projects in the development of cell culture media and processes
• Conduct research in the field of viral vectors (e.g., AAV and Lentivirus) within S1 and S2 laboratory environments
• Perform practical cell culture work, including the cultivation and maintenance of CHO and HEK293 cells
• Execute sampling, analytics, and experimental setups
• Create experimental plans based on project leader specifications and coordinate laboratory workflows
• Evaluate experiments and analyses, preparing results in the form of tables, graphics, presentations, and reports
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other laboratory-specific documentation

Requirements

• Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, or a comparable qualification
• Practical laboratory experience with animal cells, preferably CHO and HEK293 suspension cells
• Strong interest in cell culture technology and structured experimental work
• Fluency in English for communication in an international environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
