Associate Scientist, Biology

Responsibilities

• Provide in vivo study support for evaluating novel oncology therapeutics in pre-clinical models
• Execute daily in vivo study tasks including dosing, tumor measurements, and tissue collections
• Perform murine handling, various dosing routes (IV, IP, PO, RO, subcutaneous), and blood collection
• Conduct necropsy and handle tissues for ex vivo analysis and processing
• Manage data organization, analysis, and presentation of results to project teams
• Participate in study design meetings and assist with facility maintenance

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with a BS or 2+ years of experience with an MS
• Proficiency in murine handling techniques and various dosing routes
• Experience with in-life and terminal blood collection and necropsy
• Proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Ability to analyze and graph data using GraphPad Prism

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with murine/rodent models of cancer, inflammation, or immunology
• Strong biology background with an understanding of basic pharmacology
• Experience with advanced in vivo techniques such as surgery and anesthesia
• Familiarity with StudyLog data collection software
• Experience with tissue culture, in vivo imaging, or flow cytometry
