Associate Scientist, Bioanalytical Lab

Responsibilities

• Independently execute sample analysis and method validation assays in consultation with the Bioanalytical Principal Investigator
• Function as lead analyst in multi-panel testing, overseeing individual runs performed by junior analysts
• Perform lot qualification of assay reagents and conduct analytical data review and analysis
• Provide training and mentoring to laboratory employees regarding assay execution and best practices
• Complete test records in compliance with GDP, GLP, and GCLP requirements and applicable SOPs
• Perform peer reviews of test records to ensure GDP compliance
• Lead and participate in general lab maintenance, materials/reagent inventory, and sample aliquoting
• Adhere to all laboratory safety policies, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related scientific discipline
• Experience with Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) techniques
• Proficiency in MS Office suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a scientific discipline
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in biological sample testing or reagent/assay development in an industrial setting
• Experience running immunoassays or ligand-binding assays
• Experience using the MSD platform
• Experience working in a high-complexity or high-throughput laboratory environment
• Training and experience with GLP and/or GCLP standards
