About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute immunoassays (e.g., ELISA) and troubleshoot assay-related problems with minimal guidance
  • Develop immunoassay methods and write assay validation protocols for review
  • Perform validation experiments, summarize results, and write/review validation reports and procedure documents
  • Support sample preparation, assay runs, and data processing in compliance with GxP and GLP guidance
  • Oversee the preparation of reagents and buffers and coordinate the re-ordering of laboratory supplies
  • Operate and maintain various laboratory instrumentation and evaluate new technologies for assay development
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and comply with all laboratory safety requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree in biology or a related field
  • Hands-on knowledge in immunoassays using a variety of detection systems
  • Proven understanding of methodologies to measure proteins and immunogenicity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in bioanalytical assay development
