Associate RVA Instructor

Responsibilities

• Facilitate instructor-led training for Remote Operations personnel on autonomous vehicle assistance events
• Deliver event-based training exercises, simulations, and scenario walkthroughs
• Serve as a subject matter expert on RVA tools, workflows, and event handling
• Assess trainee performance and provide coaching and mentoring
• Develop, revise, and maintain SOPs, training guides, and certification materials
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering to communicate system changes
• Triage and troubleshoot autonomous vehicle hardware and software issues
• Document technical findings and real-time autonomous vehicle events

Requirements

• Prior experience in automotive, autonomous vehicle, robotics, or fleet operations
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot automotive systems, robotic platforms, and network infrastructure
• Working proficiency with Linux-based systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Availability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, or holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Atlassian toolchain (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins)
• Familiarity with programming languages like Java or C++
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Python, or Wireshark
• Experience with LiDAR, radar, cameras, and CAN bus
• Associate or BS in Engineering, Physics, Science, or a relevant field
