Associate Roynat Capital

Responsibilities

• Manage and control an assigned loan portfolio to ensure acceptable risk levels and appropriate returns
• Research, prepare, and verify comprehensive credit applications in alignment with company guidelines
• Exercise sound credit judgment through thorough due diligence and financial analysis
• Monitor assigned accounts for conformity to terms and conditions, including timely financial statement reviews
• Identify and resolve deteriorating credit quality and participate in problem loan resolutions
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and a regular sales call program to expand business
• Establish and maintain relationships with mid-market industrial and commercial companies and key referral sources
• Promote specialized product offerings including term debt, subordinated debt, mezzanine financing, and equity
• Ensure all Know Your Customer (KYC) and regulatory requirements are satisfied prior to disbursement

Requirements

• University degree in Economics, Commerce, Finance, or Accounting
• 4-5 years of commercial banking experience or equivalent in credit underwriting or financial services sales
• Proven experience in credit underwriting and managing annual reviews
• Fluency in French and proficiency in English to collaborate with national teams and clients

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional financial designation such as a CPA or CFA (e.g., CA, CMA, CFA)
