Associate Risk Control Consultant

Responsibilities

• Identify property and general liability concerns through third-party property inspection reports
• Communicate identified life safety, operational, and property concerns to Underwriting, Claims, and Account Services departments
• Collaborate with senior team members to create risk management educational materials
• Partner with risk control departments to facilitate risk/safety training
• Participate in on-site inspections as needed

Requirements

• 0-2+ years of experience in risk control or safety
• Bachelor’s Degree in safety, engineering, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of OSHA and NFPA standards
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel approximately 20% annually
• Authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate in Risk Management (ARM) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation
• Experience with general liability and property insurance
• Experience with apartment real estate or public housing operations
