Associate - Retirements - GPS Delivery

Responsibilities

• Process retirement disinvestment requests received from members and trustees accurately and timely.
• Conduct complex tax-related computations, including Protected Tax-Free Cash (PTFC).
• Issue regulatory and non-regulatory correspondence packs to customers nearing retirement age.
• Set up SIPP Pension Accounts and facilitate annuity setups.
• Monitor web journeys and manage exception handling to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Perform reconciliations and generate control reports to maintain operational integrity.
• Manage mailbox queries, audit requests, and record benefit crystallisation events.
• Update member records in accordance with written procedures and compliance standards.
• Identify and propose process and customer experience improvement ideas.

Requirements

• Understanding of mutual funds and financial products within the UK financial services market.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive client information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in client services teams.
• Experience interacting with clients via email or telephone.
• Prior knowledge of pension processes and administration.
