Associate, Repo Trading

Responsibilities

• Manage daily trading and strategy for the North America Repo book across multiple funds, including Hedge Funds and U.S. mutual funds.
• Trade global credit, sovereign, and emerging market fixed income securities across multiple currencies.
• Handle daily risk exposures with high attention to detail and provide market color and daily locates to portfolio managers.
• Drive and expand counterparty relationships.
• Analyze book performance and market trends daily, providing commentary to management and PM teams.
• Utilize quantitative skills to improve trading performance and build technological solutions for efficiency.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (or Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related role (Associate, Analyst, etc.).
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, VBA, and R.
• Strong knowledge of Fixed Income Markets and Monetary Policy.
• Experience with mathematical financial modeling, scenario analysis, and stress testing.
• Expertise in risk assessment, management, and database management to automate position analysis.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for ad-hoc analysis.
