Associate, Repair III

Responsibilities

• Perform setup, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic assemblies, sub-assemblies, and electromechanical products.
• Work from engineering specifications, blueprints, drawings, diagrams, and verbal or written instructions.
• Utilize various test equipment to complete repairs and collect/summarize test results.
• Act as a seasoned individual contributor, working under limited supervision for routine and non-routine situations.
• Provide assistance, training, and mentorship to lower-level employees and junior technical personnel.
• Determine methods and procedures for new assignments and make minor adjustments to working methods.
• Provide senior-level administrative or technical support and resolve moderately difficult issues.

Requirements

• Two-year college degree and 3 years of experience in a functional area, OR a High School Diploma and 5 years of functional experience.
• Proficiency in electronic assembly repair.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
• Hands-on experience working with various types of test equipment.
• Proven ability to work independently and exercise judgment in resolving technical issues.
