Associate, Regulatory Data Integrity Lead

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed analysis and review of client regulatory classifications, including MiFID II, EMIR, and Dodd-Frank.
• Validate existing data records against regulatory requirements and internal policies to identify inconsistencies or misclassifications.
• Manage the resolution of classification and record-keeping issues through root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective actions.
• Support client engagement by tracking communications, follow-ups, and responses.
• Collaborate with technology and data governance teams to ensure validated classifications are accurately reflected in systems.
• Maintain clear tracking of issues, dependencies, and remediation actions to provide auditable evidence for governance and reporting.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Legal, Operations, and Technology teams to escalate risks and systemic issues.
• Drive procedural and policy improvements to strengthen regulatory onboarding controls and efficiency.

Requirements

• Significant experience in client data, regulatory classification, onboarding, or remediation within financial services.
• Broad knowledge of Markets Regulations, specifically MiFID II, EMIR, and Dodd-Frank.
• Proven experience working with large datasets and identifying data quality issues.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, including Front Office and Compliance.
• Degree level or equivalent relevant industry experience.
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to regulatory audits or data quality reviews.
• Experience preparing Management Information (MI) and professional presentations.
