Associate Real Estate Attorney

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate contracts and supporting documents for commercial real estate transactions to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Resolve legal matters throughout the development process, including due diligence, permitting, entitlements, and construction.
• Provide strategic legal guidance and risk assessment to the Store Development Team.
• Collaborate with the Commercial Escrow Team to address title issues and facilitate timely closings.
• Support the efficient opening of new stores in alignment with the company’s strategic development plan.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• 1–3 years of legal practice experience.
• Licensed attorney with active state bar membership.
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and a multi-project workload.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for interacting with landlords, brokers, and escrow agents.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience specifically focused on commercial real estate and contracts.
