About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain quantitative models for inflation products, including inflation swaps, break-evens, and linkers
  • Conduct research to generate insights on inflation dynamics and market behavior
  • Translate complex market problems into structured quantitative solutions
  • Collaborate with traders and research teams to identify and implement new investment strategies
  • Design and extend APIs for pricing and curves libraries
  • Refine existing quantitative frameworks and tools to meet high-quality standards
  • Develop and maintain testing processes for quantitative libraries and tools
  • Provide mathematical and technical documentation to internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Outstanding academic background in a quantitative field (e.g., Maths, Physics, or Computer Science)
  • Solid understanding of financial markets, specifically with experience in rates and inflation products
  • Excellent programming skills in Python and C++
  • Proven ability to work with data, build models, and implement solutions in a production environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Quantitative role
  • Knowledge of pricing, risk, and modelling frameworks for inflation or fixed income products
  • Experience working closely with trading desks
  • Knowledge and experience with the Rust programming language
  • Experience in curves construction and Adjoint risk or alternative techniques
