About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain quantitative models for inflation products, including inflation swaps, break-evens, and linkers
- Conduct research to generate insights on inflation dynamics and market behavior
- Translate complex market problems into structured quantitative solutions
- Collaborate with traders and research teams to identify and implement new investment strategies
- Design and extend APIs for pricing and curves libraries
- Refine existing quantitative frameworks and tools to meet high-quality standards
- Develop and maintain testing processes for quantitative libraries and tools
- Provide mathematical and technical documentation to internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Outstanding academic background in a quantitative field (e.g., Maths, Physics, or Computer Science)
- Solid understanding of financial markets, specifically with experience in rates and inflation products
- Excellent programming skills in Python and C++
- Proven ability to work with data, build models, and implement solutions in a production environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Quantitative role
- Knowledge of pricing, risk, and modelling frameworks for inflation or fixed income products
- Experience working closely with trading desks
- Knowledge and experience with the Rust programming language
- Experience in curves construction and Adjoint risk or alternative techniques
