Associate Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide Process and Quality Engineering support to manufacturing to ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Identify manufacturing process defects, including scrap, nonconforming material, and customer complaints.
• Assist in identifying primary root causes and understanding corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Perform line situation triage to determine non-conformance, initial bracketing, and containment.
• Review product specifications, quality plans, risk analyses, and FMEAs.
• Support product and process improvement efforts by gathering and analyzing quality metric data.
• Implement minor changes through the change management system and support major implementations.
• Write protocols and reports to support engineering studies and validations under management oversight.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 0-2 years of related work experience with a basic understanding of the functional area.
• Bilingual fluency in both English and Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
