Associate Quality Control Microbiology

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine laboratory procedures, including aseptic aliquoting, sampling, and analysis
• Conduct sample testing, standards and reagent preparation, environmental monitoring, and equipment maintenance
• Ensure accurate, complete, and timely documentation of all laboratory work
• Review, analyze, and communicate test results and participate in investigations or audits as needed
• Complete all work in compliance with established procedures and scientific/technical standards

Requirements

• High school/GED + 2 years of quality control work experience, OR Associate's degree + 6 months of QC experience, OR a Bachelor's degree
• Ability to pass the Ishihara color vision test
• Willingness to work non-standard shifts, including third shift, rotative weekdays, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Microbiology with 3+ years of quality control experience
• GMP laboratory experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotech industry
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, safety protocols, and GMP standards
• Bilingual in Spanish and English with effective technical writing skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
