About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-routine laboratory procedures, including aseptic aliquoting, sampling, and analysis
- Conduct sample testing, standards and reagent preparation, environmental monitoring, and equipment maintenance
- Ensure accurate, complete, and timely documentation of all laboratory work
- Review, analyze, and communicate test results and participate in investigations or audits as needed
- Complete all work in compliance with established procedures and scientific/technical standards
Requirements
- High school/GED + 2 years of quality control work experience, OR Associate's degree + 6 months of QC experience, OR a Bachelor's degree
- Ability to pass the Ishihara color vision test
- Willingness to work non-standard shifts, including third shift, rotative weekdays, and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Microbiology with 3+ years of quality control experience
- GMP laboratory experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotech industry
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, safety protocols, and GMP standards
- Bilingual in Spanish and English with effective technical writing skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
