About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform routine sampling and inspection of raw materials, components, drug substances, devices, and printed materials.
- Operate laboratory equipment including Optical Comparator, Keyence, Instron, TruScan, and NIR for testing and inspection.
- Use computer systems such as LIMS, OEFM, and SAP to manage sample testing and document results.
- Evaluate test results in accordance with established SOPs and analytical methods.
- Review electronic batch record documentation for incoming raw materials and components.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, QA, Receiving, and Packaging teams to coordinate warehouse operations.
- Identify and recommend process improvements and troubleshoot testing issues in compliance with SOPs.
- Participate in regulatory inspections and internal/external audits.
Requirements
- High school/GED + 2 years of work experience in Quality Control, OR
- Associate’s degree + 6 months of work experience in Quality Control, OR
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Educational background in Life Sciences or Engineering.
- Experience with systems such as SAP/ERP, eBR, LIMS, Trackwise, Coldstream, or Veeva.
- Ishihara certification.
- Experience in sampling and inspection processes for drug substances and devices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to support investigations.
- Flexibility to support non-standard shifts, including weekends.
