Associate, Quality Assurance (Product Release & Logistics)

Responsibilities

• Perform timely evaluation and make decisions on the disposition of finished products, raw materials, and components.
• Update inventory management systems with appropriate lot status disposition (reject, hold, quarantine, and approved).
• Determine status disposition for returned goods and complete all necessary documentation.
• Utilize electronic systems including SAP, TrackWise, MES, LIMS, and DocuSign for daily operations.
• Participate in the review and revision of Quality Assurance, Production, and Packaging SOPs.
• Lead or participate in non-conformance investigations and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Ensure compliance with GMP requirements regarding shop-floor activities and Good Documentation Practices.
• Support internal and customer audits as well as regulatory inspections.

Requirements

• B.Sc. degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven experience involving product release, raw material release, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Sound knowledge of Health Canada and FDA regulations.
• Proficiency with SAP and TrackWise.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong organizational abilities.
