About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases for CAD-based 2D and 3D visualization applications.
  • Create technical documentation including quality status reports, requirements traceability, and technical help guides.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement action plans to prevent recurring issues.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Build and maintain testing environment configurations and work with in-house automation tools.
  • Collaborate closely with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and developers to ensure delivery expectations are met.
  • Support release planning and ensure adherence to quality gates and the Definition of Done.

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of total software testing experience.
  • Proven experience testing CAD applications (2D/3D) or 3+ years of CAD design experience combined with strong software testing knowledge.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
  • Proficiency with Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies and Jira software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and a willingness to work in UK/US shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with 3D application testing and 3D visualization.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in desktop application automation.
  • Knowledge of user experience (UX) and usability standards.
  • Certifications in software testing standards or Agile methodologies.
  • Domain knowledge in MCAD, mechanical engineering, or the manufacturing industry.
