About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed propulsion system, engine, APU, and fuel system integration and installation analyses
  • Produce, review, and maintain engineering deliverables to ensure certification and airworthiness
  • Support qualification and demonstration testing, including structural, thermal, and vibration testing
  • Troubleshoot production-line and delivery issues on-site in Charleston
  • Investigate and resolve fleet, production, and supplier issues such as Service Requests and Non-Conformances
  • Maintain and update configuration and requirements artifacts, including specifications and control documents
  • Support safety and airworthiness activities by updating system safety analyses and installation limitations

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to perform installation analysis and knowledge of propulsion and fuel systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in propulsion engineering or engine/APU and fuel system integration
  • Experience with configuration management and requirements tools such as ENOVIA, CATIA, or similar
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex cross-domain problems involving structures and certification
  • Experience with supplier oversight and managing design modifications
  • Experience planning and executing qualification testing and developing test procedures
  • Knowledge of RCCA/BPSM, fault trees, and safety analyses
