Associate Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensure project safety and compliance with OSHA and corporate governance requirements
• Manage project lifecycle including design, implementation, budget, and cash flow reporting
• Lead project scope development, options analysis, and estimate reviews
• Manage project timelines and schedules to minimize operational impact
• Assemble and oversee integrated project teams consisting of internal and external resources
• Support contract administration including scope of work and unit costing
• Coordinate with business partners and clients regarding project status and financial impacts
• Utilize construction management software and Microsoft Office suite for daily operations
• Manage project budgets and provide timely spending updates

Requirements

• Four-year college degree (BA/BS) in project/construction management or related field with 2+ years of experience, or 2 years of college with 8+ years of experience
• 4 years of project/construction management in hospitality, commercial, or industrial sectors
• Proven ability to manage a portfolio of projects exceeding $4M annually
• Knowledge of project accounting, estimating, scheduling, and budgeting
• Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and codes (UBC, NEC, UFC)
• Strong leadership, organization, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Windows, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for executive presentations

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA in Project/Construction Management or related field
• Experience with Primavera P6, MS Access, or PMWeb
• Theme Park construction experience
