About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the development of wind, solar, and battery storage projects in the East Region (ERCOT, MISO, SPP, PJM, Southeast, and Northeast).
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and documentation, tracking budget-to-actual and planned progress.
- Coordinate contractor activities, assist in developing Scopes of Work (SOWs), and administer executed contracts.
- Provide analytical support for project financial feasibility, due diligence, and competitive analyses.
- Build relationships with landowners and community members to secure site control and planning permits.
- Conduct research on location-specific permitting, tax requirements, and environmental studies.
- Utilize GIS mapping software to track land status and visualize project strategies.
- Collaborate with interconnection and preconstruction teams to evaluate project design and resource assessment.
Requirements
- BS or BA degree from an accredited college program.
- 1+ years of experience in a renewable energy developer role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Willingness and ability to travel significantly (40%-60%) to project sites.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and exceptional communication abilities.
