Associate Project Manager, Brand Guidelines & Governance

LA28, the organizers for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles, is on a mission to create an unparalleled Games experience for athletes, fans, partners, our community and our people. The LA28 organizing committee is an independent, non-profit organization that is privately funded and governed by a board of directors.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage publication calendars, workback schedules, and project milestones
• Oversee intake sessions, check-ins, and feedback cycles for brand guidelines
• Utilize project management systems to track statuses and flag blockers or risks
• Perform quality control on files for accuracy prior to routing for reviews
• Drive review cycles by routing documents to internal stakeholders and IOC partners
• Coordinate updates and addendums to guidelines as new assets become available
• Manage file organization and archive outdated versions

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in creative project or traffic management
• Knowledge of brand governance frameworks, guidelines, and style guides
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet
• Experience in stakeholder management across cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple multi-phase projects simultaneously
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Strong design literacy and attention to detail for proofreading design files

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or passion for branding in global sporting events
• Background in brand governance focus
