Associate Professor/Professor of Technology & Operations

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-impact research focused on sustainable and resilient semiconductor manufacturing and supply-chain operations
• Participate in the interdisciplinary faculty cluster "Sustainable Semiconductors for a Secure Future" in collaboration with the College of Engineering
• Mentor a diverse community of students and junior researchers
• Engage in industry partnerships, pilot deployments, or policy engagement to translate research findings
• Contribute to the academic excellence of the Ross School of Business through teaching and leadership

Requirements

• Doctorate in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or Computer Science
• Research expertise in sustainability (e.g., low-carbon manufacturing, circular economy) or supply chain resiliency (e.g., risk assessment, supply chain design)
• Proven track record of interdisciplinary collaboration with engineering, materials, or computer science colleagues
• History of securing external research funding from federal agencies or industry
• Demonstrated excellence in business research, teaching, and leadership commensurate with the rank of Associate or Full Professor
