Associate Professor, Radiation Therapy

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach assigned courses, laboratory, practical, and simulation sessions
• Evaluate student progress and provide advisement and remedial assistance
• Participate in course and program assessment, evaluation, and improvement
• Foster knowledge building, practical skills, and critical thinking in students
• Supervise and provide guidance for student projects
• Set, mark, and assess examinations and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain office hours for student support and learning plan development
• Participate in scholarship and research activity
• Liaise with faculty, staff, and affiliated clinical sites

Requirements

• Advanced Diploma in Radiation Therapy and a relevant undergraduate degree
• Registered in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario
• Minimum of one year of treatment planning and CT-simulation experience
• Demonstrated clinical experience and currency in Radiation Therapy
• Proficiency with MS Office and curriculum design software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Satisfactory Canadian Police Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate Degree
• Current membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
• 3 to 5 years of total clinical experience
• Training and experience in adult education
• Experience with online or hybrid delivery modes
