Associate Professor, Patient Care

Responsibilities

• Teach the Patient Care Medical Assistant program in didactic, lab, and clinical settings
• Assist the program director with the development of course content
• Provide instruction covering CNA, CMA, Phlebotomy, and EKG certifications
• Ensure student compliance with ethical obligations, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations
• Collaborate closely with students and fellow faculty members
• Maintain a teaching load of 20-24 credit hours per semester

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Two years of work-related experience
• Demonstrated teaching competencies in the discipline
• Strong clinical medical assisting skills
• Familiarity with OSHA and HIPAA regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with previous teaching experience
