About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the specialist Endodontics education program, overseeing curriculum, assessment, and student experience
- Deliver high-quality teaching and safe clinical supervision across entry-to-practice, specialist, and continuing education programs
- Build and lead a competitive research program in Endodontics, securing external funding and publishing in high-impact outlets
- Supervise higher degree, graduate, and postgraduate research students to ensure timely thesis completion
- Provide academic leadership through committee service, accreditation activities, and mentoring of academic colleagues
Requirements
- Specialist Endodontics registration with AHPRA, or equivalent qualifications enabling timely Australian registration
- Completed PhD in Endodontics or a closely related dental or health sciences discipline
- Proven strategic leadership in clinical teaching, curriculum design, and educational innovation
- Established research profile with evidence of competitive grant success and quality publications
- Demonstrated experience supervising higher degree and postgraduate research students
