Associate Professor of Endodontics

Responsibilities

• Lead the specialist Endodontics education program, overseeing curriculum, assessment, and student experience
• Deliver high-quality teaching and safe clinical supervision across entry-to-practice, specialist, and continuing education programs
• Build and lead a competitive research program in Endodontics, securing external funding and publishing in high-impact outlets
• Supervise higher degree, graduate, and postgraduate research students to ensure timely thesis completion
• Provide academic leadership through committee service, accreditation activities, and mentoring of academic colleagues

Requirements

• Specialist Endodontics registration with AHPRA, or equivalent qualifications enabling timely Australian registration
• Completed PhD in Endodontics or a closely related dental or health sciences discipline
• Proven strategic leadership in clinical teaching, curriculum design, and educational innovation
• Established research profile with evidence of competitive grant success and quality publications
• Demonstrated experience supervising higher degree and postgraduate research students
