Associate Professor of Clinical Education (Oral Surgery)/Professor of Clinical Education (Oral Surgery)

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and establishment of a specialty in Oral Surgery
• Provide academic and clinical leadership for undergraduate oral surgery education
• Undertake scholarly activity in clinical education and oral surgery
• Perform appropriate administrative duties and implement strategic priorities in learning, teaching, and research
• Foster excellence in research, teaching, engagement, and professional activities

Requirements

• Doctoral or master's qualification (or equivalent accreditation/professional fellowship)
• Current specialist registration or eligibility for registration with AHPRA
• Extensive experience in Oral Surgery
• Proven experience in clinical education and promoting student learning

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading the establishment, accreditation, or review of specialist postgraduate clinical training programs
• Professional recognition through leadership roles in specialist colleges or professional societies
• Demonstrated innovation in clinical education, such as advanced assessment methods or simulation-based learning
• Experience supervising specialist trainees, postgraduate students, or higher degree research candidates
