Associate Professor, Medical Laboratory Sciences

Responsibilities

• Provide academic leadership and foster an effective learning environment
• Utilize innovative teaching techniques for theory and practice, primarily in Chemistry
• Evaluate student progress and provide advisement and remedial assistance
• Liaise with faculty, staff, and personnel at affiliated clinical sites
• Participate in internal committees

Requirements

• MLT with minimum six years of experience in Core Lab disciplines
• Degree required; Masters level education preferred
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure with College of Medical Laboratory Technologists Ontario
• Certification and membership in relevant professional associations
• Proficiency in MS Office and curriculum design software
• Ability to teach in online/hybrid delivery modes
• Satisfactory Canadian Police Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using EPIC or similar LIS software
• Training and experience in adult education
• Recent experience working or teaching in the field within the last 12 months
