About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality course content, including in-person laboratory, practical, and simulation sessions.
- Apply educational principles to curriculum delivery across online Learning Management Systems and in-person formats.
- Evaluate and document student progress, providing advisement, learning plans, and remedial assistance as needed.
- Establish fair, transparent assessments and provide timely, constructive feedback to students.
- Participate in program quality improvement by reviewing course evaluations and adapting teaching methods.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and clinical partners to support student success and program goals.
- Engage in scholarship, research, and ongoing professional development related to MRI and education.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Radiation Sciences or a related field.
- Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a certified MRI technologist.
- Registration in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
- Proficiency in MS Office and various computer applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience in teaching or clinical education within a post-secondary or healthcare setting.
- Training and experience in adult education and hybrid learning methodologies.
- Current membership with CAMRT and OAMRS.
