About the role
Responsibilities
- Evaluate massive datasets from multiple databases to identify defect trends and perform deep-dive root cause analysis.
- Design, execute, and maintain complex audit test scripts and conduct random loan sampling to ensure compliance.
- Act as the primary Quality contact for external departments, managing QA initiatives and cross-functional meetings.
- Own the defect management lifecycle, implementing corrective action plans using Lean Six Sigma tools.
- Onboard and train new team members on QA methodology and validate audit outputs.
- Assess operational risk levels across business units to ensure adherence to company compliance requirements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in data analysis.
- Proficiency in DB Visualizer (DB Viz) and advanced Excel formulas.
- Proven understanding of Lean Six Sigma frameworks and formal Root Cause Analysis (RCA) techniques.
- Strong project management aptitude and ability to hold cross-functional teams accountable.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills for presenting risk assessments to leadership.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field preferred).

- Background in Quality Assurance (QA) within financial services or mortgage lending.
