Responsibilities
- Design and review technical drawings using 3D CAD software, Fusion 360
- Ensure designs meet required standards including IP rating, EMC/EMI, and environmental regulations
- Generate manufacturing drawings and support the transition of designs into production
- Develop testing processes and perform validation of new designs
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams
- Maintain thorough documentation across all stages of the design and development process
- Uphold ISO, QC, QA, and safety standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a closely related field
- Hands-on experience with CAD software such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD
- Strong technical problem-solving ability and sound reasoning
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage time and deliver within project timelines
- Right to work in Australia (no sponsorship available)
- Academic transcript must be provided with application
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to a manufacturing or production environment
- Ability to draft electrical schematics
- Familiarity with ISO standards (9001, 45001, or 27001)
