Responsibilities

• Design and review technical drawings using 3D CAD software, Fusion 360
• Ensure designs meet required standards including IP rating, EMC/EMI, and environmental regulations
• Generate manufacturing drawings and support the transition of designs into production
• Develop testing processes and perform validation of new designs
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams
• Maintain thorough documentation across all stages of the design and development process
• Uphold ISO, QC, QA, and safety standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a closely related field
• Hands-on experience with CAD software such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD
• Strong technical problem-solving ability and sound reasoning
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage time and deliver within project timelines
• Right to work in Australia (no sponsorship available)
• Academic transcript must be provided with application

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to a manufacturing or production environment
• Ability to draft electrical schematics
• Familiarity with ISO standards (9001, 45001, or 27001)
