Associate Producer

Responsibilities

• Provide on-air talent with stories, audio, and news updates to prepare for daily shows
• Gather, write, edit, and prepare content to serve as tip sheets for talent
• Scan websites, newspapers, social media, and other sources for the latest sports and entertainment news
• Post information and digital content onto company websites
• Assist with audio editing and digital content coordination

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of professional and collegiate sports is required
• Proficiency in audio editing software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and social networking platforms
• Excellent writing and editing abilities with strong grammar skills
• Strong time management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multi-task and manage projects with high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Media, Communications, or Journalism
• 2-3+ years of experience in newsgathering or media operations
