Associate, Procurement Operations

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing to source newly designed tooling, fixtures, and custom components from prototype through production release
• Identify, qualify, and onboard suppliers in compliance with medical device quality system requirements (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA QSR)
• Coordinate RFQs, supplier technical reviews, and cost analyses for complex, engineered parts and tooling
• Issue and manage purchase orders in alignment with approved specifications, drawings, and change controls
• Ensure timely delivery of long-lead and critical items to support engineering builds, validation activities, and production schedules

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in procurement or sourcing for production within the manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office
• Full Australian work rights
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively under tight timescales, and mitigate risk
