About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate new additive manufacturing and post-processing equipment
- Execute process-development experiments with novel materials and manufacturing processes
- Observe and report the influence of printing and post-processing parameters on object quality
- Perform material testing using standard and non-standard equipment
- Maintain detailed records, follow work instructions, and ensure safety and quality standards
- Manage print queues and communicate with cross-functional teams
- Support equipment installation, qualification, and repair activities
- Conduct quality inspections of manufactured appliances
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent (STEM educational background preferred)
- 2-4 years of experience operating SLA/Resin-based 3D printing machines
- Experience handling chemicals such as isopropyl alcohol (IPA), photopolymers, and cleaning agents
- Experience in post-processing 3D printed parts
- Proficiency using metrology instruments including micrometers and calipers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to lift and manipulate equipment or fixtures weighing up to 10 lbs
- Willingness to work overtime occasionally to support critical deadlines
