Associate - Private Equity Group - Investor Relations

Responsibilities

• Lead the Private Equity Group (PEG) team in Mumbai, providing oversight and direction to team members.
• Drive global investor relations initiatives in collaboration with international colleagues.
• Create and enhance client materials, including portfolio reviews, performance analytics, and marketing collateral.
• Develop and update analytical models and Excel templates to support client and prospect requirements.
• Complete RFPs, RFIs, due diligence questionnaires, and client/consultant questionnaires.
• Liaise with information management, client service, and technology teams to automate client data and reporting.
• Monitor industry databases to gather market, competitive, and environmental information.
• Respond to ad-hoc data requests and provide benchmarking analysis for clients.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in private equity, finance, investor relations, data analytics, or accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with VBA or Python skills.
• Strong financial modeling aptitude and analytical skills.
• Experience utilizing industry databases such as Pitchbook, Preqin, Capital IQ, or Thomson Reuters.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage and mentor team members in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• CFA designation is a plus.
• Prior exposure to global investor relations.
• Familiarity with private equity industry trends and best practices.
