Associate Principal

Responsibilities

• Drive day-to-day project execution, including identifying and evaluating investment opportunities and conducting sector or geographic landscape assessments.
• Identify and engage with qualified regional and international investors.
• Support business development efforts in the Asia Pacific region by performing market assessments and identifying potential clients and partners.
• Work closely with leadership to develop partnerships and pursue new business opportunities.
• Lead or support complex commercial due diligence assignments and market research.
• Provide value-creation recommendations for post-investment strategies and advise on the structuring of blended finance vehicles.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or a similar high-caliber finance role.
• MBA from a reputable institution.
• Proven experience living and working in the Asia Pacific region.
• Strong quantitative skills with proficiency in financial modeling, accounting, and valuation methodologies.
• Strong business development acumen and experience working with stakeholders such as private equity firms or Development Finance Institutions (DFIs).
• Excellent communication skills, including high-quality slide design and storyboarding.
• Demonstrated fluency in English; fluency in another Asian language is a plus.
• Ability to travel regionally and internationally as required.
