Associate Principal - Architecture

Responsibilities

• Lead Azure cloud solutioning and architecture design for large-scale migration programs.
• Perform infrastructure and database assessments using Azure Migrate and related tools.
• Design and implement Azure Landing Zones, including governance, networking, and security.
• Develop HLD/LLD architecture diagrams, Bill of Materials (BoM), pricing, and licensing strategies.
• Execute end-to-end migrations for infrastructure and databases using Azure Migrate, DMS, and DMA.
• Design and implement SQL Server HADR solutions such as FCI, Always On, and multi-region setups.
• Ensure security compliance and governance using Azure Key Vault and organizational policies.
• Manage and lead technical teams of approximately 5 members.

Requirements

• Minimum of 13 years of overall IT experience.
• At least 5 years of specialized experience in Azure Infrastructure and Database Migration.
• Strong expertise in Azure IaaS, PaaS, Azure SQL, Networking, Storage, and IAM.
• Proven experience leading and managing technical teams.
• Educational background in BCA, MCA, BE, BTech, or an equivalent degree.
• Flexibility to support 24x7 operations and shift-based schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant Azure certifications such as AZ-305 (Solutions Architect), AZ-104 (Administrator), or DP-300 (Azure SQL Solutions).
• Experience with TSQL and PowerShell scripting.
• Knowledge of SQL Server upgrades, modernization, and performance tuning.
• Experience with identity governance and monitoring solutions.
