Associate, Portfolio Implementation

Responsibilities

• Monitor portfolio positioning, trade execution, cash levels, and compliance
• Use proprietary tools and data systems to rebalance and optimize client portfolios
• Partner with Client Coverage and Investment teams to manage lifecycle events like account openings and tax-loss harvesting
• Support senior Portfolio Managers in executing firmwide investment theses
• Work with sub-advisors to communicate SMA objectives and resolve trading discrepancies
• Collaborate with Operations and Compliance to document procedures
• Support enhancements to trading and portfolio management systems
• Assist with investment workflows across Public, Private, and Alternative asset classes
• Identify opportunities to improve existing workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Portfolio Management, Trading, or Operations
• Experience at a broker-dealer, RIA, multi-family office, or similar investment firm
• Familiarity with trading/order management and reporting systems (e.g., Addepar, Charles River, Salesforce)
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to work market hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Equity and Fixed Income markets
• Familiarity with Morningstar, Bloomberg, or FactSet
• Experience using Python, SQL, VBA, or APIs to automate workflows
• Experience using Addepar for analysis and reporting
