Associate Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Execute the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of internal platforms to enable secure, scalable software delivery.
• Manage SAP ECC to S/4 conversions and migrations from on-premise to hybrid-cloud architectures using BTP and Azure.
• Perform daily S4/HANA engineering, management, and administration (Basis).
• Support HANA database system operations, including high availability, disaster recovery, and performance tuning.
• Develop and support scalable platform solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Implement and maintain platform security measures, including vulnerability assessments and audit remediation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define platform requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

• Master's degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 7 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience with SAP ECC to S/4 conversions.
• Strong knowledge of SAP BTP and Azure cloud environments.
• Proficiency in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies and tools.
• Demonstrated experience implementing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, including observability and incident management.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Certified Technology Specialist (SAP S4/HANA Conversion and System Upgrade).
• SAFe Agilist (SA) certification.
• Experience with testing suite integration using Tosca and cALM.
